PS both links are the same because they are great photographs especially as some of them have pictures of one of my beloved "O'Boats".

Rex Cooper spotted the site and passed the link onto me, sadly I can't properly credit the photographs other than to Dave Atkinson Radio Officer on the Viscount and the others mentioned for helping with the text but to all concerned lots of BZds.

News Flash

It is with much sadness that I announce the death on Sunday 22nd November 2009 of Former RFA Deck Officer Philip John Robert Burman aged 72 years  and membership number 288 who passed away peacefully at Torbay Hospital. He is sadly missed by his nieces, family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Torquay Crematorium on Monday 30th November, no black please. Friends and shipmates will be welcome and afterwards at the Hare and Hounds, Kings Kerswell.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, may be made in lieu to the RNLI (Torbay Lifeboat) either by the retiring collection or via the Funeral Directors, T&I Stockman, 19 Holwel Road, Brixham, TQ5 9NE.

I offer sincere condolences on behalf of the RFA association to his family.
