It is with much sadness that I announce the death on Friday 13th November 2009 of Steward Stephen Joyce. Stephen, who was from Sunderland and still serving at sea was 53 years old and was attending  a Sea Survival Course in Portsmouth. He had served in the RFA for 21 years. It is believed he suffered a heart attack. I also understand his wife is not at all well and currently in hospital, he has, I am told 2 teenage sons.

As I get more information from COMRFA  I will update this page
