A large gathering from the Scottish and Newcastle Branch and one member, from afar afield as the Pymouth Branch attended the Summer bash at Tarset in Northumberland. This was a teriffic lunchtime do and the weather was on side and on message right up to close of play. It did however chuck it down on the way home.Dawn, our membership secretary and her Mum did the catering and an amazing spread, not a cheesie hammie eggy in sight, was laid out and quickly demolished. The generousity of those attending was quite amazing and £240 was raised for the RFA National Memorial Fund. On behalf of the Association I would like to thank Pat and Rex for hosting the event and all the attending members for their support for the event and their most generous support for the memorial fund.
